Life In Motion Therapy
At Life In Motion Therapy Psychotherapy, we provide a safe and compassionate space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings. Our experienced therapists specialize in a variety of areas, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. We are here to support you on your journey towards healing and personal growth.
Trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and life stressors can feel overwhelming—but they don’t have to define your life. In my experience as a psychotherapist, I have found EMDR to be an effective and powerful approach that provides safe, compassionate relief from emotional suffering. Whether you’re navigating deep-rooted trauma or the stressors of daily life, finding a Certified EMDR Therapist who is trauma- and dissociation-informed is essential for effective healing.
My goal is to offer you compassionate, informed therapy that meets you where you are. In addition to EMDR, I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) principles. I have also completed basic training in Rapid Resolution Therapy. Because no single approach works for everyone, I tailor therapy to fit your unique needs, drawing from my training and experience to help you move forward.
I have been a licensed clinician since 2019, with a background that includes working in county mental health with individuals facing severe and chronic conditions, providing bereavement support in hospice settings, counseling in schools, and working with survivors and perpetrators of domestic violence. I’ve also led support groups for family members of individuals with chronic mental illness and facilitated groups for teens on probation for dating violence.
When you step into therapy with me, you can expect collaboration, respect, and an approach that prioritizes both support and effectiveness. I know how daunting it can be to address emotional pain—especially when it feels like change is impossible. But healing is possible. These beliefs can shift, making space for growth, relief, and a better quality of life.
EMDR Therapy
Trauma, anxiety and depression, grief and loss of various kinds, bereavement and life stressors can be effectively reduced in severity with EMDR. In my experience as a psychotherapist, I have found EMDR is an effective and powerful psychotherapeutic modality that can safely and compassionately provide relief from emotional suffering. It is important to find a Certified Therapist that is trauma and dissociation informed. My goal is to provide effective and informed compassionate treatment for any of the symptoms or life challenges you face.
In addition, I use CBT, DBT and am IFS informed, and completed the basic training in Rapid Resolution Therapy. Because one size does not fit all, I pull from my experience and training to fit the therapy to the person.
EMDR CONSULTATION
Consultation to complete hours toward EMDRIA certification, or CIT consultation of consultation are offered. Even if you are not seeking certification, consultation is a wonderful way to keep your EMDR practice informed. It has been my experience that consultation is and continues to be an important part of my practice.
